Job Summary

CMGA is seeking an experienced IT Manager (Expat) to lead and manage all IT and security infrastructure operations at our Senegal facilities.

The primary focus of this role is surveillance systems (camera installation and monitoring), security perimeter systems, VPN configuration, and secure network management. The selected candidate will be hired from India/Philippines and deployed to Senegal.

This position requires strong hands-on technical expertise combined with leadership capability to manage site IT infrastructure independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, and maintain:
• CCTV camera systems (IP & analog)
• Centralized monitoring and recording systems
• Security perimeter systems (access control, barriers, alarm systems)
• Set up and manage secure VPN connections between factory and remote offices.
• Oversee LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Implement and monitor network security protocols.
• Ensure 24/7 system uptime for surveillance and critical IT infrastructure.
• Lead IT troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution.
• Manage server systems, data backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, and system logs.
• Coordinate with management on IT security policies and compliance.
• Support integration of IT systems with production and administrative departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• CCTV installation & surveillance systems
• VPN configuration and remote connectivity
• Firewall and network security management
• Access control and perimeter security systems
• Experience managing IT infrastructure in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to work independently in an international setting.
• Willingness to relocate to Senegal (Expat role).
• Good communication skills in English (French is an advantage).

Preferred Skills

• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, MCSA, or equivalent.
• Experience working in Africa or remote industrial sites.
• Knowledge of enterprise-grade surveillance systems.
• Leadership experience managing IT teams.
