Job Title: IT Manager (Hands-On Technical Role)
Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on IT Manager to oversee all IT operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, especially in laptop/desktop configuration, network management, hardware & software troubleshooting, IT asset management, and overall IT support.
Key Responsibilities1. IT Infrastructure Management
- Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and other IT devices.
- Manage OS installation, updates, software setup, and user account configuration.
- Ensure timely troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
2. Network & Systems Administration
- Manage LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security.
- Assist in managing servers, cloud services, and backup systems.
3. IT Support & Helpdesk
- Provide technical support to all employees for daily IT issues.
- Handle ticketing, prioritize issues, and resolve them promptly.
- Train users on basic IT best practices and tools.
4. Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain antivirus, endpoint security, and data protection policies.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.
- Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments.
5. Asset & Vendor Management
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage procurement of IT equipment & liaise with vendors for support.
- Evaluate new technologies and solutions for business improvement.
6. IT Policies & Documentation
- Create and update IT policies, manuals, and SOPs.
- Document system configurations, backups, and troubleshooting procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–7 years of hands-on IT support or system administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
- Experience with networking devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Familiar with server administration, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and backup tools.
