Utah Housing Corporation (UHC), located in West Valley City, Utah, is seeking an experienced IT Manager in our Information Technology Department to lead our IT Support Team in a collaborative and mission-driven environment. If you are energized by leading enterprise support operations, developing and coaching staff, improving service delivery, and enhancing the end-user technology experience across an organization, we invite you to continue reading.

At UHC, our mission is to serve Utah's housing needs through finance and innovation. We are guided by core values - including integrity, respect, communication, teamwork and collaboration, and growth and development - which shape how we work together and how we support the communities we serve. We are looking for a leader who embodies these values and takes pride in delivering exceptional service in a purpose-driven environment.

The IT Manager - Support Team position pays between $90,000 and $120,000 annually, based on education and experience. UHC provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes employer contributions to the Utah Retirement Systems (URS), Public Employees Health Program (PEHP) traditional health plans, as well as a high-deductible health plan with employer contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Additional benefits include dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts for medical and dependent care, group term life and accident insurance, and options for 401(k), 457, IRA, and Roth IRA plans. Employees also enjoy an onsite fitness center, 30 minutes of paid daily exercise time, a convenient onsite market, flexible work hours, and limited remote work opportunities, all within a supportive coaching-oriented environment.

Responsibilities of the IT Manager - Support Team include leading a small but critical team responsible for helpdesk operations, end-user support, IT asset tracking, and employee technology training. This position ensures team members are effectively assigned, supported, and progressing on key service priorities. The IT Manager - Support Team partners closely with the Infrastructure Team to resolve escalated technical issues and coordinate cross-functional IT initiatives while developing performance metrics that drive continuous improvement in service delivery and customer experience. This position requires strong self-direction, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with limited supervision while maintaining effective collaboration across departments.

IT Manager - Support Team will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define support needs and implement effective service solutions, coaching and mentoring direct reports through goal setting and performance development, and ensuring timely and high-quality resolution of helpdesk tickets. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate IT asset inventory records, overseeing employee onboarding and offboarding technology processes, and delivering security awareness and technology training to staff. In addition, the IT Manager recommends and maintains IT support policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement in customer service standards and support operations.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field and at least seven years of experience in an enterprise IT environment. Experience managing direct reports is strongly preferred, along with demonstrated success leading IT support, helpdesk, or service desk functions.

If you are a service-oriented, analytical leader who thrives on building strong teams, improving processes, and enhancing the employee technology experience, we want to hear from you.

Qualified applicants may be contacted by Utah Housing Corporation for an interview.
