IT Networking Officer

Squad International is seeking a skilled IT Networking Officer to manage and maintain the company’s network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth network operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and support overall IT functions.

Location: PECHS, Karachi
Timings: 5:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN networks
• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability
• Troubleshoot network, internet, and connectivity issues
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Provide technical support to office staff
• Maintain network security and data protection measures
• Handle system backups and updates
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant networking experience
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN
• Hands-on experience with routers and switches
• Familiarity with firewall configuration is a plus
• Good troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in call center environment (plus point)
• Knowledge of network security practices
• Certifications such as CCNA/MCSA will be an advantage
