Job Summary:

OZ Developers is looking for an IT Officer. The IT Officer is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and applications. The role includes providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing effective IT solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems including computers, servers, network devices, and applications.
  • Monitor and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with IT policies.
  • Perform regular data backups and recovery operations.
  • Ensure IT security through access controls, firewalls, antivirus, and regular system updates.
  • Maintain an inventory of all IT hardware and software assets.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for procurement and support services.
  • Document technical procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Support IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and software implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • [2+] years of proven experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Linux environments.
  • Proficient in networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, cloud services, and antivirus software.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified, or Cisco (CCNA).
  • Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of database systems and website administration.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with occasional off-site visits.
  • May require evening or weekend work for maintenance or urgent support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
