Role Objective:
The IT Planning Senior Analyst supports the IT Planning function by coordinating, consolidating, and validating planning portfolio, and financial data across ITD. The role operates with moderate autonomy and ensures that planning inputs are complete, accurate, and ready for escalation to the Principal Analyst and IT Planning Head. The role is a senior individual contributor, focused on execution quality and control, not decision-making.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:
Demand & Portfolio Planning

Coordinate collection of IT demand data (Projects, Change Requests (CRs), technical initiatives) from ITD units.

Consolidate demand inputs into approved planning trackers and templates.

Perform initial checks on completeness, consistency, and readiness of submissions before escalation.
Financial Portfolio Support

Support updating of portfolio financial health trackers using data provided by the IT Budgeting & Control Unit.

Highlight inconsistencies or missing data for review. Note: This role supports financials visibility and tracking only and does not approve budgets or expenditures.
Governance & Planning Coordination

Support preparation of Enterprise Technology Committee (ETSC) and ITD governance materials.

Maintain planning action logs and follow up on assigned actions.

Ensure planning artifacts re accurate, up to date, and version controlled.
Dashboard Monitoring Support

Support preparation of monthly ITD dashboards by consolidating and validating inputs.

Maintain portfolio health trackers, including demand, capacity, and financial indicators.

Support variance analysis and ensure data accuracy before escalation.
Documentation & Control

Maintain structured repositories for planning frameworks, trackers, and governance records.

Ensure documentation supports audit, compliance, and internal control requirements.

Apply approved standards and templates consistently.
ITD Performance Management & KPI Governance

Support collection and consolidation of KPI data from ITD units.

Maintain KPI trackers and historical performance records.

Support preparation of KPI summaries and variance analysis.
ITD Capability & Skillset Planning

Support data updates related to ITD skillsets and capability tracking.

Maintain documentation and assessment records.
Educational Qualifications
:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline.

Professional certifications (ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF) preferred.
Experience
:
-
3 – 5 years experience in IT Planning, PMO, reporting, governance, or similar roles.

Experience in banking or regulated environments is an advantage.
