Position: IT Project Manager – Banking (Asset & Wealth / Custody)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Are you a seasoned IT Project Manager with deep expertise in banking transformation projects? We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead large-scale initiatives across Asset & Wealth Management, Private Banking, and Custody platforms.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments and has a strong track record in delivering end-to-end banking technology projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery from initiation to closure
• Manage implementations across Asset & Wealth Management / Private Banking domain
• Drive initiatives across front, middle, and back-office systems
• Conduct process mapping, re-engineering, and customer journey analysis
• Ensure project execution using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Lead change management activities, including business case, UAT planning, and execution
• Manage and engage cross-functional stakeholders (technical & business)
• Monitor project scope, timelines, risk, and deliverables

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10+ years of experience as IT Project Manager in banking
• Strong experience in Asset & Wealth Management systems, such as:

- Avaloq (Front Office)

- Finastra TCM (Middle Office)

- Temenos (Back Office)

• Strong expertise in Custody & Securities platforms, such as:

- TCS Bancs

- FIS (Securities, Lending & Borrowing)

• Proven experience in end-to-end project implementation
• Strong understanding of process improvement & transformation
• Experience in change management and UAT coordination
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)

Additional Information

Notice Period: 15–30 days preferred (immediate joiners are a plus)

Location: Onsite in Doha, Qatar (candidates currently based in Qatar are preferred)

Pay: QAR23,000.00 - QAR25,000.00 per month
