We are seeking a dynamic and motivated IT Recruiter to join our team on a remote, commission-based basis. Who We are
OHTStaffing is a new branch to Oak Harbor Tech LLC. We have launched this branch of our business out of a pinpoint that we most employers struggle with, and that is finding and sourcing IT Tech talent.
Duties
- Identify and attract top IT talent through active sourcing strategies including social media management, cold calling, research, and leveraging ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) such as iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess technical skills, cultural fit, and career goals while maintaining high standards of candidate evaluation
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring compliance with employment and labor laws
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients through effective communication skills and relationship management techniques
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and create targeted lead generation campaigns
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive intelligence to advise clients on talent acquisition strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical recruiting, executive recruiting, or campus recruitment within the IT sector
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills to influence candidate decisions and client expectations
- Familiarity with ATS platforms such as Salesforce, iCIMS, Workday, or Taleo; experience with HRIS systems like Kronos or ADP is a plus
- Knowledge of employment & labor law to ensure compliant hiring practices
- Ability to conduct effective interviewing sessions that evaluate both technical expertise and soft skills
- Experience in HR sourcing techniques including social media management and cold calling for lead generation
- Demonstrated ability in talent management, employee relations, employee evaluation, and succession planning

Pay: $20,000.00 - $94,496.43 per year
