Job Description:

The IT Regulatory Liaison plays a critical role in supporting the coordination of internal audits, regulatory examinations, and enterprise risk reporting. This position serves as a central point of contact between the IT and Information Security departments and various oversight bodies, including internal auditors, bank examiners, and bank committees. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage requests from internal audit teams and bank examiners, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Collect, organize, and validate data and documentation from IT and Information Security teams to support audit and examination activities.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reporting packages for the IT and Information Security Committee and other bank departments and committees.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding audit and examination items, ensuring resolution and documentation.
  • Assist in the development and refinement of internal processes to improve audit readiness and regulatory response.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT and InfoSec governance, risk, and compliance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support regulatory and risk management initiatives.
  • Manage Information Technology’s Change Approval Process and system
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Three years of experience in audit coordination, regulatory liaison or IT governance roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in the banking industry strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with IT and Information Security concepts and terminology.
  • Experience preparing reports and documentation for executive or committee-level review.
  • Strong communication skills explaining technical issues.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing business requirements and leading teams through technical design.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other Bank colleagues.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and adapt to change.
  • Must be customer/service focused.
