Position Overview:
KatariTech Fiber Solutions WLL is seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Security Manager to lead and strengthen our information security initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our digital assets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing best practices in cybersecurity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s information security strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor and manage IT security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legal regulations, and internal security policies.
• Lead incident response efforts and coordinate recovery actions during security breaches.
• Train employees on security awareness, best practices, and emerging threats.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and management teams to integrate security into all aspects of business operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT security management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems, and endpoint protection tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH are highly desirable.
