IT Senior QA Engineer – Bahrain (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a Bahraini Senior QA Engineer to take full ownership of quality, reliability, and performance across a rapidly growing fintech platform. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced startup environment where you’ll shape automation frameworks, champion best practices, and ensure flawless user experiences across web, mobile, and API products.

This role is not just about catching bugs—it’s about building confidence in every release and driving a culture of quality at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Own the end-to-end QA lifecycle: design, develop, and execute test strategies for mobile, web, and APIs.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks (UI, API, performance) to enable fast, reliable releases.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to embed quality into every stage of development.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve defects and production issues.
• Advocate for process excellence, introducing best practices in testing, automation, and CI/CD.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and act as a champion of quality and accountability.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in software QA/testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
• Strong skills in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) and working in CI/CD environments.
• Experience with high-volume, fintech or payment systems is a strong plus.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint-driven delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; thrives in a startup culture.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD800.000 - BD1,200.000 per month
