MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems hardware, or software.

Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, determines and implements solution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support:
-
Unified Communication support.
-
Hardware maintenance follow-up.
-
Meeting rooms and conference calling.
-
Maintain software and hardware in Head Office and various project locations.
-
Support IT solutions implementation.
-
Monitor application performance and issues, and alerting emergency resources when a problem occurs
Help Desk
-
Install computer equipment and its peripherals both for full network set-up and for end user workstations.
-
Printing, Scanning and copier services.
-
Provide primitive training to end users
-
End user support for all user devices including PCs, Tablets and Mobile phones
-
Receiving user calls and inquiries and respond according to agreed SLA
-
Enhancing user productivity by suggesting new solutions or enhancements to existing ones
-
On call support after the office working hours according to agreed SLA
-
Hands-On technical experience in deploying, configuring and supporting PSP standard applications.
SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, PSP policy and accepted safe work practices.

Observe environmental, health and safety related signs, posters, warning signals and written directions.

Be familiar with the emergency plan, the emergency assembly area and emergency coordinators for their location.

Follow procedures and observe precautions for the use of special material.
-
Follow safe operating procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) guidance applicable to work performed, if the work involves hazardous materials.
-
Report all unsafe conditions to their supervisor or safety committee as soon as is reasonably possible.

Follow procedures between departments.

Comply with PSP QMS system.
-
Comply with all Quality department audits for improving overall performance for IT department.
REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION
Basic Requirements:
-
BSc degree in Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
-
MCSE
-
Experience in Ticketing Systems
-
Microsoft office Experience
-
Overall Experience: +4 years
