IT Services Manager
The IT Services Manager leads the delivery and ongoing operation of IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and support services for internal employees & projects across the organisation. This includes managing daily IT operations to ensure secure, dependable, and efficient services. The successful candidate will lead an internal IT team, plan and implement technology initiatives, and promote effective practices in technology management. Strong organisational skills and a commitment to setting high standards are essential.
Responsibilities:

Manage IT infrastructure services, including networks, servers, computers, peripherals, printers, and key IT services such as VPN and identity and access management.

Lead the internal IT Support team, ensuring timely handling of technical issues and maintaining a high level of support for employees.

Work with the Head of IT and Cyber to design and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with business needs and compliance requirements.

Collaborate with internal departments to identify technology requirements and provide suitable solutions.

Oversee IT projects covering planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution.

Monitor and evaluate IT system performance to ensure reliable and efficient services.

Maintain IT security controls, including data protection and disaster recovery planning.

Manage user access and licensing for the organisation’s applications, ensuring accurate and centralised oversight.

Provide leadership, guidance, and development opportunities for the IT team, including involvement in development processes when relevant.

Keep informed about current technologies, industry trends, and best practices in IT service management.

Strong experience in macOS management, including proficiency with ADE, DEP, and related Apple ecosystem tools.

Hands-on development experience or familiarity with DevOps practices, React, TypeScript, and Node to support operational and integration needs.

A candidate with strong technical capability, solid problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical colleagues. The role requires effective task prioritisation, teamwork, and a willingness to stay current with evolving technologies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, including infrastructure, systems, and applications.

Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams.

Strong knowledge of IT industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with IT security principles, data protection regulations, and disaster recovery planning.

Professional certifications in IT service management or related fields (e.g., ITIL, PMP, etc.) are a plus.

Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken. Additional languages are an advantage.
