We are looking for Information Technology Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company’s computer networks, including both wired and wireless systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Provide technical support for all hardware and software used within the organization, including computers, printers, POS systems, and other specialized applications.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by staff in a timely manner to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect the company’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats, including malware, viruses, and unauthorized access.
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data breaches.
- Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software, including researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and ensuring that purchases align with the company’s budget and technology requirements.
- Provide training and technical guidance to staff on the proper use of IT systems and software applications to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and inventory of all IT assets, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and future upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to IT security, data privacy, and technology usage.
- Stay updated on advancements in information technology and identify opportunities to leverage new technologies to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 2–4 years of IT support experience (UAE experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
