An IT Specialist at QDB supports the bank’s internal systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms to ensure smooth daily operations and secure banking services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Systems & Application Support
Maintain and monitor banking systems, ERP, and internal applications
Troubleshoot technical issues (software, hardware, network)
Provide end-user support across departments
2. IT Infrastructure Management
Manage servers, networks, and cloud systems
Ensure uptime and system performance
Support upgrades, patches, and system improvements
3. Cybersecurity & Compliance
Implement security policies and controls
Monitor threats and vulnerabilities
Ensure compliance with banking regulations
4. Data & Reporting Support
Maintain databases and ensure data accuracy
Generate reports for business units
Assist with analytics tools (basic level)
5. Project & Digital Support
Assist in digital transformation initiatives
Support system integrations and new technology rollouts
Work with vendors and IT teams on projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Experience:
Entry: 1–3 years
Mid-level: 3–6 years
Skills:
Networking & systems (Windows/Linux)
Basic SQL / database knowledge
IT support tools & ticketing systems
Knowledge of banking systems (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From QAR16,984.00 per month
