IT Support

General Purpose:

Under the direction of the IT Manager, IT Support will provide technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the company's information technology systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including but not limited to computers, servers, networks, and peripherals.

· Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems in a timely manner.

· Assist in the setup and maintenance of user accounts, email systems, and access rights in accordance with company policies.

· Assist in the implementation and enforcement of IT security protocols, including antivirus software, firewalls, and data encryption measures.

· Assist in the documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

· Assist in the procurement of IT equipment and software licenses, including researching vendors, obtaining quotes, and processing purchase orders.

· Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

· Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for improving IT systems and infrastructure.

Education, Training, and Skills Required:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

· Previous experience in an IT support role or relevant internship experience preferred.

· Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity software.

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Employees are responsible to perform duties related to generating and storing hazardous waste in satellite accumulation areas. Must remain within regulatory and internal compliance when using, handling or segregating hazardous materials and waste.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
