We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused IT Support professional to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining the technological infrastructure that enables our staff to deliver an exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for all IT-related queries, ensuring our internal operations run efficiently.
This is a full-time position based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, with a competitive salary range of $58,000 to $125,000 USD per annum, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
• Provide first and second-line technical support to all employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to, manage, and resolve IT support requests and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company security policies.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for IT processes, procedures, and user guides.
• Assist with the onboarding of new staff, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and system access from day one.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects as required.
Qualifications
• Proven experience working in an IT support or helpdesk environment.
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technology products.
• Proficiency in supporting Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and other common business applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical colleagues.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified) would be a significant advantage.
