IT Support Coordinator

Position Summary

Ethio-Tech LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Coordinator to manage and support the company’s IT infrastructure, ensure smooth day-to-day technical operations, and provide high-quality technical assistance to staff. The ideal candidate will act as the central point of contact for IT-related issues, coordinate support activities, and help maintain secure and efficient systems across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Coordinate IT support requests and ensure timely resolution of tickets
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and cloud services
  • Assist in user account management, including setup, permissions, and security access
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and connectivity issues
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and support records
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs and upgrades
  • Ensure data security practices and assist in implementing cybersecurity measures
  • Support onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT perspective
  • Recommend improvements to IT systems and processes for better efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk coordination
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS environments and basic networking
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise tools
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, or similar)
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace)
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience working in a corporate or multi-department environment

Pay: Up to QAR640,000.00 per year
