IT Support Engineer

This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations, resolving technical issues, and supporting both staff and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and office IT equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Manage user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
• Ensure IT security by implementing and monitoring antivirus, firewalls, and backups.
• Collaborate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, incidents, and resolutions.
• Provide training and support to employees on IT tools and best practices.
• Assist in upgrading systems and implementing new technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with printers, office IT equipment, and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
