Job Summary: IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a proactive and reliable IT Support Engineer to assist in the day-to-day operations of our IT systems. The role involves providing technical support to office and yard users, maintaining hardware and software, ensuring smooth network connectivity, supporting Tally Prime/ERP, and assisting in IT asset and account management. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support and a strong desire to grow in the IT infrastructure and ERP support field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. User & System Support
- Assist in creating and managing user accounts in Microsoft Office 365 and internal systems.
- Provide first-level support for login, access, and basic configuration issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software-related problems for office users.
2. Hardware & Software Maintenance
- Install, configure, and update operating systems and standard office applications.
- Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Identify and escalate recurring technical issues to the IT Administrator.
3. Network & Connectivity Support
- Monitor and support office network and Wi-Fi connectivity.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving network-related issues.
- Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISP) for connectivity or downtime issues.
4. IT Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain and update records of IT assets assigned to staff.
- Assist in tagging, tracking, and maintaining IT equipment inventory.
5. Vendor & Procurement Assistance
- Support in collecting quotations for IT supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and service requirements.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain logs of IT issues and resolutions.
- Report technical incidents and assist in preventive maintenance activities.
7. Tally Prime/ERP – Technical & Functional Support
- Install, configure, and maintain Tally ERP/Prime software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tally software issues, including error messages, missing data, or data corruption.
- Provide functional support to users in Tally operations and ERP workflows.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or system maintenance.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and system installation.
- Experience with Tally Prime/ERP technical and functional support.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and support multiple users efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
