IT Support Engineer

Location: Lahore, Pakistan
Salary Range: PKR 70,000 – 120,000 per month

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Manager to oversee our organization’s IT operations, manage support staff, and ensure seamless technology performance across all departments. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing IT infrastructure, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing effective IT policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the IT support team to provide timely technical assistance to all employees.
• Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.
• Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus, and data backup protocols.
• Monitor IT performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency.
• Handle troubleshooting of network, system, and software issues promptly.
• Maintain and update IT asset inventory, licenses, and documentation.
• Collaborate with management to plan IT infrastructure upgrades and ensure business continuity.
• Train and support staff on IT tools, systems, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Liaise with external vendors for hardware/software procurement and technical support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS environments, networking, and cloud systems.
• Hands-on experience with servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent troubleshooting, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
