Local IT consultancy and solutions provider with experience in strategic IT services, consulting, support, and infrastructure projects for public and private sectors.
An IT Support Engineer in Qatar (within IT Solutions companies or departments) is mainly responsible for supporting the IT infrastructure, solving technical issues for users, and ensuring smooth operation of systems.
Core Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network problems.
Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, servers, printers and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications.
Respond to support requests via helpdesk ticketing systems within SLAs.
Manage user accounts (Active Directory, accounts, passwords).
Assist with network basics (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, Microsoft 365).
Document solutions and maintain IT assets/inventory records.
Typical Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3+ years of experience in IT support/helpdesk.
Good knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking fundamentals.
Communication skills and problem-solving attitude.
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL are a plus.
Pay: From QAR4,000.00 per month
