Tri Pointe Connect, the mortgage affiliate of Tri Pointe Homes, is looking for an experienced individual to join our talented group in Scottsdale, AZ as an IT Support Engineer (Mortgage).

Position Summary: The IT Support Engineer provides Tier 1–2 technical support while also contributing to IT operations, identity management, cloud services administration, and endpoint lifecycle management. This role serves as a critical point of contact for end users across Window environments, supporting both onsite and remote employees nationwide. The position blends hands-on technical support with systems administration, vendor coordination, cloud collaboration tools, and continuous process improvement, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT services throughout the organization.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for Tier 1–2 end-user support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues for on-site and remote users.
- Provide technical support for laptops and conferencing equipment across Windows environment.
- Deliver responsive technical assistance via ticketing systems, chat, phone, and remote support tools.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Outlook, Teams, voicemail, mailbox permissions, calendar delegation, and Copilot adoption support.
- Manage Azure Active Directory users, groups, and access as part of onboarding, offboarding, and role changes.
- Support Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) user access and session troubleshooting.
- Provision, modify, and deactivate user accounts and computer objects in Active Directory and Azure environments.
- Ensure proper access control, license assignment, and compliance across systems.
- Assist with identity lifecycle workflows and access audits.
- Serve as Zoom administrator, managing user accounts, Zoom Phone configurations, digital signage, and client-side troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain end-user documentation and training materials for collaboration platforms.
- Manage IT asset inventory including procurement, provisioning, deployment, lifecycle tracking, and decommissioning.
- Reimage and deploy hardware for employees nationwide, ensuring secure and timely equipment delivery.
- Coordinate IT support for office moves, hardware refreshes, and workstation setup.
- Manage and deploy application updates using centralized endpoint management tools.
- Assist with malware prevention, system hygiene, and data protection best practices.
- Participate in IT audits and contribute to documentation, controls, and remediation efforts.
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors for procurement, renewals, and licensing compliance.
- Administer Adobe licensing and manage SaaS subscriptions across departments.
- Track renewals, usage, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting guides, audit evidence, and best practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve onboarding workflows and IT setup processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or System Support roles.
- Experience with Networking Fundamentals to include TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall basics.
- Azure certification, a plus.
Skills:- Strong experience supporting Windows environments.
- Hands-on experience with MicroSoft 365 administration and Active Directory.
- Familiarity with Azure services and cloud-based identity management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to support both technical and non-technical team members.
- Exposure to IT audits or compliance frameworks, helpful.
Physical Requirements:- May be sedentary for extended periods, up to 4 hours
- Visual acuity for detailed computer work
- Using fine motor skills for tasks requiring precision such as typing
- After hours/weekend, as needed
