IT Support Engineer – Qatar Insurance Company (QIC)

Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) is the largest insurance provider in Qatar and one of the leading insurers in the MENA region, founded in 1964. It provides: General insurance, Motor insurance, Medical insurance, Property & engineering insurance, Marine & liability insurance, Reinsurance and international operations.

An IT Support Engineer at QIC is responsible for providing first-line and second-line technical support to employees, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure across the organization. The role supports both office users and business-critical insurance systems.

1. Technical Support (End-User Support)

2. Network & System Support

3. Application & Insurance Systems Support

4. Security & Access Management

5. IT Operations & Maintenance

6. Ticketing & Incident Management

7. User Training & Support

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering

2–5 years IT support experience (insurance or corporate preferred)

Knowledge of:

Windows Server / Active Directory

Microsoft 365

Networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
