IT Support Intern – Job Description
Position Overview:
The IT Support Intern will assist the IT team in providing technical support, troubleshooting basic issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the company’s IT systems. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in an IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues for employees.
Support the setup and configuration of laptops, desktops, and other IT equipment.
Help maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment.
Provide basic support for Windows OS, Microsoft Office, email, and internal applications.
Assist with user account setup and password resets under supervision.
Support network connectivity checks (Wi-Fi, VPN, LAN).
Log and update support requests in the ticketing system.
Assist with routine maintenance tasks such as updates and system checks.
Document simple troubleshooting steps and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Currently studying or recently graduated in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and computer hardware.
Eagerness to learn and apply new technical skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with the IT team.
