We are seeking a skilled IT Support Officer to deliver comprehensive technical assistance across the organization. The role involves managing network support, addressing server-related issues, and resolving PC hardware problems to ensure consistent, reliable, and efficient IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
Network Support
- Maintain and monitor LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot user network connectivity issues.
- Support configuration of routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
- Ensure optimal network performance and security.
Server Support
- Oversee server performance, health, and uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve server-side issues (Windows/Linux).
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and shared directories.
- Assist with data backups, updates, and security patches.
Hardware & System Support
- Identify and fix PC hardware issues (RAM, SSD/HDD, motherboard, power supply, etc.).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS and necessary software.
- Handle troubleshooting of printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Ensure proper upkeep and functionality of all IT equipment.
Requirements
- 6 Months – 1 years of experience in IT support or a helpdesk environment.
- Strong understanding of networks, servers, Windows OS, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently on an evening/night shift.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
