IT Support Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time IT Support Officer to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical and help desk support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining desktop systems to ensure smooth daily IT operations.

The role includes diagnosing technical problems, installing and maintaining IT equipment and software, supporting end users, and ensuring reliable IT services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT and help desk support
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and IT equipment
• Install and support engineering and design software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, Revit, etc.
• Ensure smooth and uninterrupted IT operations
• Maintain IT systems in line with company requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support, Technical Support, or Help Desk
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with desktop computers and IT systems
• Knowledge of installing and supporting engineering software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience in the construction, engineering, or project management industry is a plus
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Civil Engineering Consultancy firms
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
