IT Support Officer

Company: Tekboox – US-based IT Solutions Company

Tekboox is seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Officer to provide day-to-day IT support, troubleshoot issues, maintain systems, and help ensure smooth and secure IT operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco switches (VLANs, ports, basic routing)
• Assist with installation, configuration, and monitoring of Fortinet firewalls
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
• Handle user support requests and troubleshoot system and application problems
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Maintain IT documentation, network diagrams, and asset inventory
• Escalate complex network or security issues to senior engineers when required
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• CCNA certification
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in an IT Support or Network Support role
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switching
• Basic to intermediate experience with Fortinet firewall configuration and support
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, and Wi-Fi
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with a user-support mindset

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ticketing/helpdesk systems
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server or Active Directory
• Understanding of network security concepts

Job Location & Timing:
Location : Garden Town Lahore
Timing : 10am to 7pm (Onsite 5days a week)
