Position: IT Support Technician (Entry-Level)

Location: Onsite
Compensation: $17–$25/hour (based on experience)

Overview

We’re seeking a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their IT career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced dealership environment.

In this role, you’ll provide day-to-day technical support, assist with maintaining IT systems, and help ensure our dealership operations run smoothly.

Around here, we don’t overcomplicate things—fix the problem, help the person, and keep the business moving.

Some travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests (phone, email, ticketing system)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Set up, configure, and deploy desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system patching
  • Assist with system imaging and workstation deployments
  • Support printers, phones, and dealership-specific systems
  • Maintain antivirus and endpoint security tools
  • Track and manage IT inventory and equipment
  • Document issues, resolutions, and internal processes
  • Provide excellent customer service to dealership staff

Preferred Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not required:

  • Dealership systems (CDK, Cox Automotive platforms)
  • Microsoft technologies (Entra ID / Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Intune)
  • Virtualization (XenServer / XCP-ng)
  • Networking (Ubiquiti UniFi or similar)
  • Communication systems (3CX, VoIP)
  • Endpoint management (Windows 10/11, Apple devices, Mosyle)

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of IT support or help desk experience (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Willingness to learn and grow in an IT career
