Job Title: IT Support Representative

Position Overview

As an IT Support Representative at Fuentes Corp, you will provide remote technical assistance and support to employees and users experiencing hardware, software, and system-related issues. You will serve as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries, assisting with troubleshooting, resolving basic IT concerns, and ensuring users receive timely and effective support.

This position is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and an interest in information technology. Comprehensive training and ongoing support will be provided to help you develop your technical knowledge and succeed in the role.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support and assistance for hardware, software, and system-related issues.
  • Respond to user support requests through phone, email, chat, and IT ticketing systems.
  • Troubleshoot common technical issues involving computers, applications, operating systems, and user accounts.
  • Assist users with password resets, account access, software installation, and basic system configurations.
  • Document support requests, solutions, and troubleshooting steps within ticketing systems.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and escalate complex problems to appropriate IT teams.
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to users to help resolve technical concerns.
  • Support remote employees with technology setup, equipment assistance, and onboarding-related requests.
  • Maintain knowledge of company IT procedures, security guidelines, and supported technologies.
  • Deliver professional, responsive, and customer-focused technical support.

 

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, software applications, and technical troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and common IT tools.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling company and user information.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and solution-oriented approach.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in IT support, help desk, customer service, technical support, or administrative technology roles is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, remote desktop tools, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, or IT service management platforms.
