Position Overview

Infoway ME LLC is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network systems. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth IT operations across the organization by resolving technical issues efficiently and maintaining system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for end-users (hardware, software, and network issues).
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner and document resolutions.
  • Assist in system updates, backups, and security patches.
  • Support email systems, collaboration tools, and business applications.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software support.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or technical helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and common IT administration tools.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware, printers, and peripherals.
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) are an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in IT service desk environments.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk).
