About the role

Be part of a team providing modernized IT Help Desk Support for approximately 250 end users on the US Army Base - Ft. Bliss Campus in alignment with the modern Army. Duties include Providing configuration, setting up, and maintaining computer systems and software such as Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2013 Suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Outlook, as well as troubleshooting issues related to telephone services and wireless devices. Perform support of field operation experiments with system imaging, setup network, and pack up upon completion.

The position requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability, quality service delivery. It would require someone who is committed to excellence, execution, and accountability.

What you’ll do

  • Provide desktop and end-user support within a secure DoD environment
  • Maintain system updates and stay current on supported technologies
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems
  • Support Microsoft Office and Adobe product suites
  • Document issues, resolutions, and system changes
  • Ensure compliance with DoD policies, procedures, and security requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience providing Help Desk support in a Government (DoD) environment – a huge plus.
  • Active DoD SECRET clearance (must be current).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+ certification
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Windows 10 Computing Environment Certification (or current DoD-approved equivalent) or MCTS – Windows 10 certification (or current equivalent if accepted)

Pay:

Competitive, commensurate with experience.

Schedule:

Normal Hours - 8:00 am to 5:00 PM - Monday to Friday
Field Exercise Duty Hours - 06:00 to 18:00

Work Location:

· Candidate must be able to work on-site at the US Army Ft Bliss Texas.

· Must be eligible for base access and hold an active DoD SECRET clearance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
