Position Overview

Bob King Automall is seeking a dependable and motivated Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career IT professional looking to build hands-on experience in a fast-paced business environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a solid understanding of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting.

Academic transcripts are required as part of the application process.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, networking, and security-related issues
• Set up and onboard new employees, including workstation configuration and account creation
• Install, image, update, and maintain computers and related devices
• Troubleshoot printers and manage toner and supply inventory
• Create and manage user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory
• Assist with VoIP phone system setup and support
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers as needed
• Move and configure workstations, printers, and peripherals
• Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and issue resolutions
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and overall user experience

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

• 0–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations
• Internship, school lab, or other hands-on technical experience encouraged
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or related certifications are a plus

Technical Skills

• Hardware and software troubleshooting
• Basic networking concepts and security best practices
• Windows 11
• Microsoft 365
• Azure Active Directory
• Apple iOS devices
• Computer imaging and deployment
• VoIP phone systems

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Professional attitude with a high level of integrity
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Dealership experience is a plus, but not required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in:

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to relocate to Wilmington, NC before starting work
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
