Position Summary:
We’re looking for a reliable and service-oriented IT Support Technician to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting the organization’s technology needs, maintaining hardware, and helping users with everyday tech issues. The ideal candidate will have basic technical knowledge, good communication skills, and a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support for laptops, mobile devices, and accessories, helping resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Assist with basic troubleshooting for computers, software, and network connections.
  • Help set up and maintain conference room technology, including AV equipment and displays.
  • Support user accounts and access permissions in systems like Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and others.
  • Offer guidance and support for Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Monitor systems and report performance issues or outages.
  • Help install and maintain company software and tools.
  • Assist with basic cybersecurity tasks like antivirus updates and software patches.
  • Keep clear records of technical procedures and solutions.
  • Take part in IT-related projects such as upgrades or new software rollouts.
  • Provide training and support to users on common IT tools and best practices.
  • Deliver friendly and helpful customer service to all team members.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with Windows and macOS systems and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and basic user account management.
  • Understanding of basic networking (DNS, DHCP, IP addresses, Wi-Fi).
  • Experience using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell or Bash).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
