IT Support Technician

IT Support technician – (full time/hOURLY w/ benefits)

Job Summary

The IT systems administrator is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of the company intranets and computer systems. Duties include assigning and maintaining user access, installing and maintaining software, responding to employee concerns relating to IT, troubleshooting IT issues. Manages network equipment, and other related IT infrastructure. Coordinates with company leadership to determine new technologies and enhancements for company systems.

Essential Tasks/Functions:

· Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, walk-ins, remote tools, and ticketing system

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, network connectivity, printers, software applications, mobile devices (iOS & Android), and basic AV equipment

· Perform hardware diagnostics, basic repairs

· Image, configure, deploy, and reclaim desktop/laptop computers

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and password resets in Active Directory / Entra ID

· Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees (equipment setup, account creation, access provisioning)

· Install, configure, and support common business applications (Zoom, Teams, Adobe suite, antivirus, VPN clients, etc.)

· Maintain accurate documentation of support tickets, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures

· Assist with hardware repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance

· Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies (compensation provided)

· Help with IT projects such as software rollouts, system upgrades, and office moves

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: 3-5 years working in a Microsoft environmentBackground: Prior experience in working in a high paced office environment

Computer Skills: M365 Administration, Azure, Intune, Hybrid and On Prem Server Knowledge

Other:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized with attention to detail

· Good project and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

· CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Fundamentals certification

· Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID administration

· Familiarity with ticketing systems

Pay: $52,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
