IT Support Technician

With multiple locations across the West Coast, our team supports large-scale live and online auctions while providing exceptional service to buyers and sellers. Technology plays a key role in our operations and we are looking for a dependable IT Support Technician to help keep our systems running smoothly.
Position Summary
The IT Support Technician provides first-line technical support for employees across multiple company locations. This role is responsible for responding to helpdesk requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting Microsoft 365 user management and assisting with ongoing technology rollouts and infrastructure support. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where technology directly supports business operations.
Job Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary responder for incoming IT support tickets through the company helpdesk system (Freshdesk), ensuring timely acknowledgment, triage and resolution or escalation
• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software and network issues across Windows desktops, laptops and printers
• Perform user account management in Microsoft 365 including onboarding new hires, offboarding employees, password resets, license assignments and group management
• Support and troubleshoot Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments including managing user sessions and assisting with application access
• Escalate complex or persistent technical issues to the IT Manager as needed
• Assist with implementation and rollout of new software systems including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Install, configure and maintain workstations, printers and other IT equipment across company locations
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting including Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN access and communication between sites
• Document issues and solutions in the helpdesk system to improve knowledge sharing and efficiency
• Travel to satellite offices in Fontana, CA, Fresno, CA and Woodburn, OR on a bi-monthly basis or as needed for onsite support, equipment deployments and infrastructure tasks
Qualifications
• 1–3 years of IT support, helpdesk or technical support experience preferred
• Experience supporting Windows environments, printers and common business software
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and user account management
• Basic understanding of networking concepts including Wi-Fi, VPN and remote connectivity
• Experience with Remote Desktop Services or virtual desktop environments is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests and work independently
• Ability to travel periodically to company locations
• Valid driver’s license preferred
