IT Support Technician - Level 1

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Level 1 IT Support Technician to join our IT Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of the ECI/Spruce ERP system is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone or email
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues
  • Analyze, research, and resolve technical problems; escalate issues when necessary
  • Assist with setup and deployment of new equipment and devices
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software
  • Perform basic hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly task checklists
  • Travel to various company locations for service calls as needed

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT work experience or an Associate degree in a related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours to ensure completion of daily responsibilities
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Working knowledge of PCs, networking, and servers
  • Scripting and coding experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various company locations
