Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Level 1 IT Support Technician to join our IT Department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate strong technical troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of the ECI/Spruce ERP system is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance via phone or email
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues
- Analyze, research, and resolve technical problems; escalate issues when necessary
- Assist with setup and deployment of new equipment and devices
- Install and configure computer hardware and software
- Perform basic hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
- Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly task checklists
- Travel to various company locations for service calls as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of IT work experience or an Associate degree in a related field
- Ability to work flexible hours to ensure completion of daily responsibilities
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Working knowledge of PCs, networking, and servers
- Scripting and coding experience is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to various company locations
