About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our Managed Services (MSP) team in Roslyn, NY.
In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues. You will work directly with clients to troubleshoot problems, resolve support requests, and help maintain secure, stable, and reliable IT environments across a variety of industries.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants exposure to a wide range of technologies including Microsoft 365, networking, servers, mobile devices, and cloud services.
This is primarily an in-office position with occasional on-site visits to client locations throughout the New York Metro area.
What You’ll Do
- Provide remote and phone-based technical support to end-users
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues
- Manage and complete support tickets within our PSA/ticketing system
- Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership and communication
- Configure, deploy, and support desktop PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, VoIP desk phones, and mobile devices
Support Microsoft technologies including Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Active Directory / Entra ID, and Office applications
- Assist with VPN, Remote Desktop, and Terminal Services support
- Support Apple iPhone iOS and Android mobile devices
- Perform occasional on-site troubleshooting and deployments
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket notes
- Participate in onboarding projects and internal initiatives

What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and improve
- 1-2 years of IT support or helpdesk experience preferred
- MSP or outsourced IT support experience strongly preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
