This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work with various operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS. As a Senior IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our users.

Duties

• Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to computer networking, operating systems, and applications.
• Manage help desk operations, ensuring timely responses to user inquiries and issues.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain and enhance IT infrastructure.
• Document technical procedures and create user guides for reference.
• Assist in the implementation of new technologies and upgrades within the organization.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Utilize tools such as Remedy for tracking incidents and managing service requests.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an IT support role with a focus on customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS operating systems.
• Proficiency in computer networking principles and practices.
• Experience with software troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with help desk operations and ticketing systems such as Remedy.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
