IT - Systems Administrator

Summary:
Arrowhead is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and optimize our hybrid IT infrastructure, including on-premises systems, cloud environments (AWS and Azure), and networking components. The ideal candidate will have experience in virtualization, identity management, automation, disaster recovery, and networking fundamentals.

Duties:

• Administer Windows Server and Linux environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms for provisioning and performance optimization.
• Configure and maintain AWS and Azure resources, including VMs, storage, networking, and identity services.
• Collaborate with network team on firewall configurations, VLANs, VPNs, and routing in relation to the server environments.
• Administer Cohesity and other backup solutions for on-prem and cloud workloads.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and Bash scripts for routine tasks and system automation.
• Use tools like SolarWinds and native cloud monitoring to track system health and performance.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated issues and document configurations and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience or relevant certifications (VCP-DCV, AZ-800, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in system administration across Windows/Linux environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Cohesity, and Veeam.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Entra, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Proficiency in AWS and Azure administration.
• Familiarity with SCCM and automation scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise networks with complex configurations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an IT team.
• Strong project management skills.
