DEPARTMENT: Office - IT

LOCATION: Dublin, TX

PAY: $55,000 - $60,000/yr

SUMMARY: Our IT Systems Developer is a versatile professional skilled in both backend web development and IT infrastructure. They specialize in building and maintaining robust PHP and SQL-based applications with minimal front-end requirements. In addition to software development, they support IT operations by assisting with server management, network troubleshooting, and system integration tasks. Their work ensures that applications are secure, reliable, and accurately aligned with business needs, while also contributing to the overall health of our IT environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, bootstrap).
  • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration between web apps and networked systems.
  • Work comfortably within a Linux environment, including command-line operations and server management.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, database connectivity, and server-side issues.
  • Assist in network diagnostics, server configuration, and basic IT support tasks.
  • Ensure application and data security through best practices and compliance standards.
  • Document code, configurations, and system architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience in web development and IT systems.
  • 1-3 years of experience in PHP development and SQL database management.
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support or network administration.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
