SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 9am-3pm PART TIME
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide technical and application support, guidance and training to end users.
Provide support for desktops, laptops, tablets, smart phones, network printers and applications
Provide direct, phone and email support to end users
Enter and track issues until resolved using a centralized support ticketing system.
Identify, prioritize and problem-solve technical and user incidents.
Develop knowledge base/self-help documents/materials, and training materials in collaboration with Training and Help Desk support teams.
Perform installations, repairs and preventative maintenance of workstations.
Document, maintain, analyze and troubleshoot desktops and applications issues.
Create and maintain IT asset documentation, and device configurations.
Participate in IT related team meetings and complete follow-up tasks as assigned.
Collaborate with internal and external IT partners/teams as required.
Work independently on minor projects and daily ongoing tasks/support.
Assist with special projects when needed and work in team environments on local and foundation-wide IT projects.
Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging technologies and tools.
Update knowledge base with documented resolutions and escalate problems as necessary to your supervisor.
Ensure completion of Big 5 performance management tool by the required deadline and use of SMART goals to support annual performance compensation review.

Perform additional duties as assigned and consistent with the non-exempt functions as assigned in this job description.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proven and demonstrated strong technical working knowledge of business networking environments.
Ability to troubleshoot client/server applications and the ability to learn new environments with minimal supervision.
Ability to work with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to evaluate, identify, and adjust tasks and project assignments based on resource capacity, skillsets, and availability.
Ability to work effectively with a wide range of team members in a diverse community.
Self-starter with desire to learn and eagerness to elevate the efficiency of the department and agency.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to be both patient and persistent with follow through until task completion.

Education:
IT related Associate's degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, Bachelors from a 4-year college preferred
Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL Certifications preferred
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience with the following:
Similar duties supporting approximately 200+ end users
Desktop configurations, application deployment and OS upgrades
Windows PowerShell, Office365
Active Directory
Windows 10 to Windows 11
Client / Server Networking
All MS Office products
Physical Requirements:
Sitting in normal position for extended periods of time.
Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction.
Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard.
Communication skills using the spoken word.
Ability to see within normal parameters.
Ability to hear within normal range.
Ability to safely, frequently and independently move and handle heavy objects as needed.
Ability to travel to facilities by various transportation means, up to 50% of time.
Licensure Required:
Valid Driver's License required
