IT Systems & Support Specialist (Multi-Office)

Description:

Position Overview

Full-Time | On-Site

Locations: Topeka, Lawrence, Overland Park, Kansas City, or Wichita

Pay: $65k - $85k/yr DOE

Joseph, Hollander & Craft is seeking an experienced IT Systems & Support Specialist to manage the day-to-day technology needs of our growing, multi-office law firm. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can independently troubleshoot and resolve issues, implement solutions, and proactively manage firm technology systems. The role requires someone comfortable working independently, troubleshooting issues, coordinating vendors, and managing routine technology operations without day-to-day supervision. This role requires someone comfortable supporting a professional services environment where reliability, responsiveness, and clear communication with attorneys and staff are essential.

This position will be based on-site in one of our office locations and will support the other offices (5 total) remotely. Regular travel between offices will be required, sometimes with little notice.

Day in the Life

No two days look exactly the same. One morning may involve troubleshooting a software or connectivity issue, preparing equipment and accounts for a new employee, or coordinating with an internet provider regarding service performance. Later in the day, the focus may shift to supporting conference room technology, working with vendors to service office equipment, or assisting with software licensing and user access.

Some days are proactive—maintaining technology inventory, coordinating device refresh cycles, or supporting system upgrades. Other days are responsive—helping users resolve issues, coordinating vendor support, or addressing service interruptions. The role helps keep the firm’s technology environment functioning smoothly by connecting people, systems, and vendors.
