IT & Technical Support Officer

PCMCI Group is looking for a skilled and motivated IT & Technical Support Officer to join our organization. The ideal MALE candidate must have strong expertise in networking, technical support, and complete administration knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.

Position: IT & Technical Support Officer
Location: DHA Phase 6, Karachi, Pakistan
Timings : From 6pm to 3am, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure, including LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems.
  • Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, printers, email, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including:
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • SharePoint Online
  • OneDrive for Business
  • Intune
  • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD / Entra ID)
  • Manage user accounts, licenses, permissions, MFA, security policies, and group policies.
  • Configure and monitor Microsoft Azure cloud services and virtual environments.
  • Handle backup, data recovery, cybersecurity, antivirus, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure maximum uptime and security.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT-related procurement and support.
  • Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and system records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN)
  • Routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Windows Server administration
  • Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • Technical troubleshooting and helpdesk support
  • Experience with virtualization and backup solutions will be an advantage.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
  • CCNA or equivalent networking certification
