IT Technician

We are hiring for multiple IT Technician that can intall cables, port configurations and switches in one of the Harrisburg/Hershey, Lancaster and Reading areas! These are contract positions working on a 9-12 month contract along side a device deployment effort.

The role involves configuring network ports and managing cabling for switches in various environments as part of our Epic Implementation. This position is crucial for ensuring efficient network operations and connectivity.

At least 2 years of configuring network ports and managing cabling for switches in various environments is a MUST. Healthcare and Epic experience highly preferred!

NETWORK ENGINEER

Locations Available: Harrisburg, Hershey, Reading, Lancaster

Rate: $35/HR

Responsibilities

Network Port Configuration

• Configure Layer 2 switch settings, including VLANs and port assignments.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network ports to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in device configuration and documentation.

Cabling Management

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems, including copper and fiber optic cables.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during installation.

Required

• CompTIA Network+
• Proficiency in network configuration and cabling techniques.
• Familiarity with network devices, including switches and routers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to lift and carry equipment, and work in confined spaces.

Work Environment

• The position is in a very active health care setting with patients and clinicians.
• This role requires working in various settings, including data centers and client sites.
