ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance to ensure smooth business operations.
- Assist with day-to-day technology support, including computers, printers, phones, and network devices.
- Help set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and other peripherals under the guidance of senior I.T. staff.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues for staff and guest-facing systems.
- Help maintain records, manuals, and documentation for I.T. systems and processes.
- Support compliance with company policies, I.T. standards, and gaming regulations.
- Assist with installing software updates, performing preventive maintenance, and helping with system upgrades.
- Participate in technology projects and learn system troubleshooting processes with support from the I.T. Manager.
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VoIP phone systems, Wi-Fi, and audiovisual equipment.
- Help document procedures and assist with creating training materials for end users.
- Report any technical concerns or suggestions for improvements to the I.T. Manager.
- Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic understanding of computers, Windows operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong interest in technology and a desire to grow in the I.T. field.
- Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate clearly.
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to manage time effectively.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Some college coursework or certification in I.T. (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITF+, or equivalent) preferred.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role is a plus, but not required.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Colorado Gaming License.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform tasks that require kneeling, crouching, and bending.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced casino environment with periods of high noise.
- Occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work may be required.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
$25.00+ an hour based on experience
