We are seeking a versatile and tech-savvy IT Technician & Digital Media Specialist to support both our technology infrastructure and our online presence. This unique role combines traditional IT responsibilities, maintaining hardware, software, and networks, with creative duties such as website design, management, and social media coordination. The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative, capable of ensuring smooth technical operations while enhancing the organization’s visibility and engagement online.

Key Responsibilities Information Technology Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, firewalls and network systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for staff.
  • Monitor system performance and implement updates, backups, and security measures.
  • Support email systems, printers, VoIP phones, and other office technology.
  • Ensure data protection and compliance with security best practices.

Website Design & Management

  • Design, create, and maintain the organization’s website, ensuring it is visually appealing, mobile-friendly, and up to date.
  • Update site content, photos, and service information as needed.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure branding and messaging consistency across all digital channels.
  • Troubleshoot website performance issues and coordinate with hosting providers as needed.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
  • Create graphics, posts, and videos to promote the organization’s services, events, and community involvement.
  • Monitor audience engagement, respond to comments/messages, and maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Track analytics and provide reports on digital performance and growth.
  • Collaborate with team members to align digital marketing with overall business goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years in IT support, with experience in website design and/or social media management preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with website platforms (WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or web design tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, creativity, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing both IT and digital functions in a small business or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA-compliant marketing and data security practices.
  • Basic photography or video editing skills.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site role with occasional off-site work for events or website maintenance.
  • Collaborative team environment with both technical and creative responsibilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
