IT Technician for Enterprise Clients

This role is hands-on, independent in the field, but backed by our software, systems, and support infrastructure that help you succeed and build a strong reputation.

Duties

• Provide technical support for hardware and software issues across various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Manage computer networking tasks, including VPN setup, firewall configurations, and LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with desktop support by diagnosing and resolving user issues related to computer hardware and software.
• Utilize help desk tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira to track and manage support requests effectively.
• Conduct software troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of applications used by clients.
• Maintain effective communication with customers to provide updates on issue resolution progress.
• Collaborate with team members to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery.
• Document all technical procedures and solutions for future reference.

Experience

• Proven experience in technical support roles, particularly in IT support or desktop support environments.
• Strong knowledge of computer management principles, including hardware components and operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity tools.
• Experience in managing IT infrastructure components such as networks, firewalls, and VPNs is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
