Italian Chef de Cuisine

Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chef de Cuisine – Italian to lead the Italian kitchen operations and support the opening of Hyatt Place AlUla.

Hyatt Place AlUla represents a significant milestone in Hyatt’s expansion across the region and will feature 215 guestrooms, two food and beverage outlets, meeting space, swimming pool and a fitness center appealing to both leisure and business travelers.


Your Role

As the Chef de Cuisine – Italian, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Italian kitchen and ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Italian kitchen
  • Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service standards
  • Develop and maintain Italian menu offerings
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff
  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste control
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or similar role in Italian cuisine
  • Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Ability to lead and develop a kitchen team
  • Good understanding of food cost control and inventory management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent English communication
