About the Role:

We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Italian Language Teacher to join our growing team of language instructors. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the Italian language, a background in teaching, and the ability to tailor lessons to a variety of learning levels—from beginners to advanced speakers.

This role includes both academic and conversational instruction and may involve working with school students, university learners, professionals, and adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Italian language (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) to students of varying levels
  • Design and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials based on learner needs
  • Use interactive teaching methods to build fluency and confidence
  • Prepare students for language proficiency exams or school/university requirements (if applicable)
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
  • Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment
  • Use digital tools effectively for online classes (Zoom, Google Meet, whiteboard apps, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Native or near-native fluency in Italian
  • Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or Linguistics (preferred)
  • Prior teaching experience in Italian (minimum 1 year preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to teach both online and offline
  • Experience with language certifications (PLIDA, CILS, CELI) is a plus
  • Knowledge of second language acquisition methods and learner psychology is an advantage
